Each member of our core team has over 15 years of experience in this space with leading healthcare software vendors, providers, health plans, and consulting firms. We take pride in our ability to understand the greatest challenges of our clients and offer both strategic guidance and technical solutions. Although we have Epic certifications, our core focus is to help executives understand their business in new ways and do things that have never been done before.
As Chief Strategy Officer, Heidi Rozmiarek provides executive strategic leadership for Sift. She leads the areas of business development, strategy and planning, advanced analytics, and innovation. Heidi has over 20 years of healthcare experience across a variety of functions including analytics, software development, enterprise applications, and interoperability. Heidi has a strong track record of leading health systems through mergers, acquisitions, and other transformational events that cause significant shifts in data ownership, interoperability, and strategic innovation.
Heidi holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, and Computer Science from Morningside College. She also has an MBA from the University of South Dakota and a master’s certificate in Accounting from Edgewood College. Heidi makes her home in Madison, Wisconsin with her husband Bob and two children. In her free time she enjoys traveling, volunteering in the community, and spending time on the water.
Mike Bauch co-founded Sift after 15 years of experience playing every position on the “healthcare innovation team” including industry leading vendor, provider/payer, and consulting organizations. His passion is solving complex problems with a balance of people, process, and technology. Prior to Sift, Mike led implementation and pre-sales teams that focused on patient acquisition and engagement for large health systems across the country. Mike enjoys playing volleyball and spending time with his wife and two kids.
Andy Evenson co-founded Sift to build a team that can work together to tackle hard problems. He enjoys diving into complex processes and has made a name for himself by finding solutions that can be distilled into easily digestible pieces. Andy is always excited to explore new areas and learn new things. He has been teaching in one form or another for over twenty years, with subjects ranging from mathematics to kiteboarding. At Epic, he spent five years teaching Epic’s most technical classes to incoming developers. In recent years, his interests and projects have increasingly focused on the sheer volume and complexity of the data that flows through a healthcare organization. In his free time, Andy enjoys spending time with his family and exploring the laws of physics through wind sports like sailing and kiteboarding, and water sports like alpine skiing and ice skating.
Morgan Nettesheim has extensive experience with a wide array of Epic applications, bringing creative solutions to implementation, workflow optimization and data analysis. Her Epic experience began while working at Epic as a Project Manager on the ADT/Prelude team. She then joined the Clinical Applications team at Meriter Health and led a variety of projects spanning inpatient, ambulatory, and ASAP. She paved the way through major changes including CPOE, Meaningful Use, and system upgrades. She knows the recipe for success from early design/specifications through implementation and ongoing support. Prior to Sift, Morgan supervised a team of analysts responsible for implementing and supporting clinical applications (ambulatory and home health) at University of Wisconsin Health. Her energy and ‘can-do’ spirit have been instrumental in her building and fostering relationships with healthcare executives, clinicians, and colleagues. Morgan lives in Madison and enjoys snowboarding, working out, and spending time with her family. She has two kids, ages 2 and 4.
Alan Raphael worked at Epic as part of the Identity team where he worked with several great clients on their EMPI conversions, merge/un-merge workflows, ID creation/maintenance, patient lookups, and various integrations. In addition, he also worked on several internal projects including the improvement of the duplicate checking and patient search algorithm, Clinical Context Object Workgroup (CCOW), National Provider IDs (NPI), external EMPI, interfaces, duplicate provider search (SER), and enhanced reporting. After leaving Epic, Alan worked for various startup companies as an analyst/developer/data scientist where he got a chance to work with the latest development tools, APIs, machine learning techniques, databases, and various programming languages (PHP, Ruby, .Net, Javascript). Alan enjoys playing in a softball league, running, and checking out new restaurants.
Greg Guthrie has over 10 years experience managing SaaS solutions with a primary focus on healthcare. In addition to handling EHR integrations including Epic, AthenaHealth, NextGen, Cerner, GE Centricity, and eClinicalWorks; Greg has owned internal and clientside training programs, customer support, and project management standardization. Before joining Sift, Greg lead a team of implementation specialists at Stericycle’s healthcare appointment scheduling platform, InQuicker. Greg’s true passions are long meals with family and friends, traveling with his wife and without their dog, inane competitions, and snark.
John has over 20 years in Information Technology with an emphasis on healthcare data, graphics, UI/UX, application development, and object-oriented programming. He started his career as a graphic designer before the internet was born and happily jumped on the web design wagon becoming a “web master” as they used to call it. As the technology grew, John enjoyed digging deeper into programming and solving problems while developing web based transactional systems. The love for development and programming drove him to return to college as an adult to get another degree in Computer Science and complete the picture. John got his first taste of healthcare data when he joined the team with Mike, Andy, and Morgan at Meriter Health and collaborated on projects ranging from data warehousing and reporting to application architecture. John became familiar with Epic, obtaining several programmer related certifications from Clarity ETL to Interconnect Web Services. Today, John loves combining his graphic design past with his healthcare business intelligence experience to work as an end-to-end full-stack developer always paying attention to the end user experience. John lives in Madison and enjoys salsa dancing, working out, and spending time with his family. He has three kids, ages 6, 8, and 11.
Tricia Anderson has 20+ years experience in the healthcare industry. She is skilled at executing volume building strategies and increasing physician engagement. She has dedicated the past 10 years of her career to assisting hospitals execute “leakage reduction” initiatives. Tricia has developed and deployed system wide Emergency Department Discharge Scheduling programs for many hospitals. This initiative involves placing Care Coordination Specialists in hospital ED’s who assist patients with follow up physician appointments. This initiative generates volume growth, increased patient satisfaction and improved physician loyalty. Because of her passion for seamless patient care coordination and physician satisfaction, Tricia formed TYA Consulting, LLC in 2019. She is client focused and results driven. In her spare time, Tricia enjoys gardening, spending time with friends and family and attending every Texas Aggie football game.
Michael Brody-Waite is the current CEO of the Nashville Entrepreneur Center. The EC’s mission is to “connect entrepreneurs with critical resources to create, launch and grow businesses.” Previously Michael was the CEO and Co-founder of InQuicker: a software company that provides leading national health care systems enterprise digital self-scheduling software so that patients can schedule healthcare services in real time across the continuum of care. Under Michael’s direction InQuicker grew 20,000% in 6 years and was acquired by a publicly traded company in late 2015. InQuicker has been named to the Inc 500, Inc 5000 and has won “Best Place to Work In Nashville” 4 of the last 5 years. Personally Michael was named as “Healthcare Entrepreneur of the Year” by the Chamber of Commerce’s Next Awards and has been recognized as a “Top 40 under 40” as well as “Most Admired CEO” by the Nashville Business Journal. Michael is extremely passionate about recruiting, developing and leading successful teams but his “jam” is building culture where growth, humility, transparency and love thrive. He looks forward to bringing this passion to the EC to preserve and potentially enhance the amazing culture that already exists.
Bruce Slater is a board certified clinical informaticist with 30 years of primary care experience. He has served as EHR physician champion, Chief Medical Information Officer and physician informaticist at an EHR vendor. He has helped leading US organizations with implementation, roll-outs and with solving specific problems; both as a vendor representative and as an independent consultant. He is currently retained on our board for advice on complex informatics problems, especially those involving physicians.
Terrence C. Sebora is an Emeritus Associate Professor of Management and former Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Terry joined the faculty in 1991 after completing a doctorate in Strategic Management at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Prior to receiving his doctorate, Terry was a co-owner/operator of a small supermarket chain in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Terry taught doctoral, graduate and undergraduate courses in new venture creation, international small business, and business strategy. His research interests include issues in entrepreneurship, corporate governance, and strategic decision-making. His articles have appeared in the Journal of World Business, the Journal of Engineering and Technology Management, the Journal of Management, the Journal of Business and Entrepreneurship, the Journal of Business Ethics, the Journal of Small Business Management, and Small Business Economics: An International Journal among others.
